Hello Environmental Stewards and Service Learners! Today’s post features an interview with David Castro, a former student at La Quinta High School and participant in the CREEC Desert EYE for Leaders Environmental Youth Experience program. After graduating high school, David went on to further his environmental sciences studies in college, in part inspired by his experiences in the Desert EYE for Leaders program.
This short video (less than 10 minutes) interview provides some insight into the program from the point of view of a past student who participated in it. He shares his experiences from the program and talks a bit about all the different career paths that one can choose in the environmental sciences.
Thank you David, for a great interview and for sharing your experiences with us!
